Student Dhiren Singh Wins Award at Delhi University 'Media Fest-2026'
FARIDABAD NEWS 15 APRIL 2026 : GAUTAM : J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has once again hoisted the flag of success. Dhiren Singh, a talented student of the department, has brought laurels to the institution by winning the second prize and a cash reward of ₹2100 for his outstanding documentary, 'Jyotisar: The Birthplace of Gita', at the 'Media Fest-2026' organized by Delhi University.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar remarked that Dhiren’s success is a testament to the university's academic excellence and creative vision. He noted that working on a cultural subject like 'Jyotisar' not only showcases artistic skill but also represents a laudable attempt to reconnect with our heritage. He extended his heartiest congratulations and best wishes for the future to the entire team.
Chairperson CMT Head of Department Prof. Pawan Singh emphasized that students should continue to work hard consistently. He stated that participating in more events and showcasing one's talent provides a fulfilling experience, adding that Dhiren Singh serves as a prime example for other students. He credited the win at Delhi University’s Media Fest to the collective efforts of the production team and the mentors who contributed significantly behind the scenes.
Attributing his success to the guidance of Senior Instructor Dushyant Tyagi and Production Assistants Pankaj Saini and Vishal Berwal, Dhiren expressed that their technical support played a pivotal role in the documentary's achievement. On this proud occasion, the department faculty and media students congratulated and encouraged Dhiren for his brilliant performance.
