FARIDABAD NEWS 20 AUG 2026 : GAUTAM :  A special master class was organized for the practical skill development of students under the 'Weekly Skill Boost' series by the Department of Communication and Media Technology at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA. District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO) of Faridabad, Murti Dalal, participated as the keynote speaker in the session titled 'From Question to Headline: Professional Skills for Press Conference'.

BAJMC first-semester students enthusiastically participated in the session held at the C.V. Raman Block of the university campus. DIPRO Murti Dalal provided students with detailed insights into the essential factors and professional skills required during a press conference. She stated that the hallmark of a successful journalist lies in the art of asking precise and accurate questions. A press conference is not merely a medium to gather information, but an opportunity to showcase clarity, accurate reporting, and the skill to craft impactful headlines. She inspired students by emphasizing that thorough fact-checking and impartiality are vital for maintaining credibility in public relations and journalism.

Chairperson of CMT, Prof. Pawan Singh stated that their constant endeavor is to provide media students with practical field experiences alongside textbook knowledge. Through series like 'Weekly Skill Boost', students directly interact with experts from the media and administrative fields, boosting their confidence and preparing them for future challenges.

During the program, students asked practical questions regarding formulating better questions, maintaining clarity, accurate reporting, and creating effective headlines, which the keynote speaker addressed with simplicity. Coordinator and Assistant Professor Sonia Hooda expressed her gratitude to the expert.
